Mission and Purpose
The ASRT Education and Research Foundation is the world’s leading source of charitable funding for the education, professional development and advancement of students and professionals in medical imaging and radiation therapy.
As the philanthropic arm of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that funds radiologic science students and professionals engaged in education and research to promote the highest quality patient care.
Thanks to donations from individuals and organizations, the ASRT Foundation annually awards tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants to:
- Support the career development of R.T.s and their service to the profession — an impact that ultimately translates into better patient care
- Ensure that R.T.s have the financial means to advance themselves and the field of radiologic sciences in the clinical, administrative and didactic arenas
- Help entry-level students achieve their dreams of becoming medical imaging or radiation therapy professionals
- Enable students and R.T.s to conduct research vital for patient care and the advancement of professionals in the field
