HCIAC White Papers

The ASRT Foundation and HCIAC created a Subcommittee on Patient Safety and Quality in Radiation Therapy to examine the role of the radiation therapist in ensuring the highest level of patient care possible. The white paper Radiation Therapy Safety: the Critical Role of the Radiation Therapist is a result of the subcommittee's work and is now available online.

The ASRT Foundation and HCIAC also embarked on a comprehensive effort to improve the methods and opportunities for training faced by R.T.s in a demanding and constantly shifting work environment.
